Annie-Paule Quinsac is Professor Emerita at College of South Carolina and an art critic. She obtained her Ph.D. from the Sorbonne, and taught the heritage of 19th-century artwork for 25 years. She is a foremost scholar on the oeuvre of Giovanni Segantini, acquiring posted a catalogue raisonné of the artist (Electa, 1982, 2014-15) and a vital edition of his correspondence (Cattaneo Editore, 1985).
